What a way to experience part of the the Camino de Santiago!
We began our day at an authentic Asturian farm where a couple of really nice Spanish guides were waiting to take us on a horseback ride over the hill to the shoreline. We enjoyed cliffside views of the Cantabrian Sea, explored the ruins of seaside churches and said hello to the peregrinos (pilgrims) making their way to Santiago de Compostela.
Today we say goodbye to Llanes and make our way to the mountains in Potes. And now, a message from Sadie and Eleanor.
The following segment features student writing.
