¡Hola a todos desde Vermont!
Your leaders just wrapped up an amazing weekend in Putney, Vermont, preparing for our departure to España in just a few short weeks. We will visit some breathtaking places during our time in Spain, beginning in the beautiful beach town of Llanes, Asturias. We look forward to exploring all that Asturias has to offer, including La Santa Cueva de Covadonga, tucked deep into Los Picos de Europa. (Throw that into the good ole Google machine if you are interested in taking a sneak peek!) Our first leg will include plenty of outdoor activity, such as hiking and surfing, so come ready to enjoy the best of Northern Spain in the peak of summertime!
In order to properly express our excitement about meeting you all and beginning our journey together, we thought it would be appropriate to take a quick picture in front of the Barn before leaving our leader orientation. We cannot wait to be on the other side of the camera lens and join you in all the fun that this beautiful country has to offer. Get ready to dive headfirst into the language, food, culture, and recreation of Llanes, Potes, Madrid, Albacete, and Peñíscola.
