Good afternoon to everybody! Our days in Albacete have been jam-packed with activities planned by our Putney coordinator on-site, Paco. We feel very fortunate to work with such an enthusiastic local who knows this small city like the back of his hand, and he put his Spanish students and ours right to work with engaging games that involved both intense language practice and fun.

Since leaving Madrid and heading across the sun-drenched open plains of La Mancha, students have been immersed in Spanish and we have noticed an upward shift in their comfort using the language. Students have reported across the board that the days in Albacete and making Spanish friends helped them realize that making mistakes is part of growth and can actually be the silliest, fun part of learning a second language.
